In February 2010 one of our readers wrote:

"This was a previous home. I would wake up almost every morning at 3am. Twice I felt the side of the bed go down as if someone was sitting on it and once I was fully awake it would slowly go back up. Once I got up to use the bathroom at again 3am and before I went I checked on my child ( he was sleeping covered up facing the wall ) I used the washroom and I could clearly hear footsteps walking down the hallway. I said go back to bed, thinking it was my son, I kept talking to him (clearly thinking it was him) the footsteps stopped at the open washroom door. I quickly got washed up and went to check on my son. He hadnt moved!

It was an old house and I often heard noises such as creaking of floorboards and whistling, but ignored them and attributed it to the age of the house but those other experiences and the fact that almost every night I would wake at the same time, were so real to me ( a previous disbeliever ) that now I fully believe something other than me occupied that house. I always wonder if anyone before me or after me experienced the same thing. The house was on Roseheath Avenue in Toronto."
