"Myself and my friend were on holiday from Dublin Ireland. We stayed in Clarion Suites and Selby 592 Sherbourne rd in Toronro. On first night we both very much felt a presence, and we both felt it was female.

The second night the phone rang 4 times and there was only interference on the other end so I took it off the hook. As I was falling asleep I felt I was being given information, a young female, I felt her name was Doris, and she told me she was a nurse maid to an elderly gentleman called Johnathon. At this stage my left arm and side became absolutely freezing! I became very scared and called my friend at which stage the presence retreated.The following evening when we arrived back to the room, same thing with phone. On our last night there were 4 loud bangs were heard, and felt toward the end of our room. We had set the alarm to catch a flight early next morning and the alarm was tuned off! When we got up I asked Doris to ring us now before we left(had had phone off hook while sleeping) and it rang within minutes, the same noise, but when I passed the phone to my friend it was silent. It rang again while I was in bathroom, my friend rang and it was silent.

I have never before had an experience quite like this. When trying to do some research the only thing I came up with is the info that this was a Victorian mansion owned by Henry Gooderham of Gooderham and Worts Distillery. It then served as a womens residence and hostel. There was a Doris Gooderham, but no birth or death dates for her. Just googled the Gooderham name and address of hotel."
