The following was sent to us in 2013:

"I won't name the place for the sake of the owners.  My husband and I had just gone to sleep when a large black form entered the room, crossed over and, I suppose, sat on the end of the bed on my feet.  The weight was immense!  All this time a deep man's voice repeatedly said, "Benson" in my head, very loud.  I was frightened to tears but then suddenly I felt very calm and went peacefully back to sleep.  Come morning the owners did admit to others having had a similar experience in that room.  Old place on the river, absolutely beautiful. Someone didn't want us sleeping there however!"
