Some 20 years ago, soon after my dad died suddenly of a heart attack in the master-bedroom of his home on Greenfield Avenue in Willowdale, my Sister reported seeing a young man in military uniform walking down the hallway between my parent's and her bedroom.Does this flyer still wander the halls of this home? On comparing notes some time later, another younger sister reported seeing the same thing. They both agreed that, although the young man resembled our dad it didn't seem to be him.
They also both felt that this "ghost" was completely benign and meant no harm.
The description sounded a lot like our uncle Bill, my dad's brother,an RAF flyer who was killed in action in 1944. at the age of 22. Could he have come back to help his brother find his way?
I remain skeptical about sightings like this and probably will remain so until I personally see a ghost, yet I can't discount what my sisters claim to have seen. I will continue keep an open mind about these things.
