Everyone as a child was afraid of that great unknown in the closet at night, but few places can claim that an unseen force in a closet has caused people to uproot and move house. That seems to be the case in this Queen St. apartment.

During the late 1960s, a couple moved in and soon noticed a depressing atmosphere pervasive throughout the dwelling -- in particular, one unused closet seemed to be the focus of the discomfort. The tenants had eerie visions of their own, such as themselves being brutally murdered and beaten, and the resident dog used to shy away from the closet whimpering. The feelings of dread, fear and depression, and the unshakable feeling that they were not alone, soon became too much and the couple fled.

Apparently, the ghost doesn't bother the new tenants but the story of the couple in the 1960s is strangely familiar to anyone that has experienced a true haunting.
