Happily, the stories/reports we have would hardly seem to be "unfriendly" or nasty... it seems to be a friendly kind of thing or at least, benevolent in it's actions. I will not and cannot give specifics here on the site to any of our reports (nor can we via e-mail due to our non-disclosure and anonymity agreements with users and witnesses) but, if we get more information, we may be able to enlighten people as to what's been going on... if anything!
Either way, *please* do not e-mail us for information on the reports we already have received but only contact us if you have anything to add.
Is Whelan's Gate haunted? Well, as we've said before, every good pub deserves a ghost and Whelan's Gate, for my money, is an EXCELLENT pub!
PLEASE, also, if you feel that the pub is not and could possibly not be haunted, we would like to hear from you too. We honestly do not know the details and if we are in error, we will remove, apologise and recant if necessary. Please, if this is your point, remember that no harm is meant and, hopefully, no foul performed. A simple "Sorry, I know it isn't because..." will be fine. No anger is needed.
