My brother had an experience once on the subway here in Toronto, where he stood next to a man dressed in turn-of-the-century clothes. He thought the man to be an actor, but then noticed something rather strange. He looked at the window reflection of the inside of the train (as many TTC'ers do!), and noticed that he couldn't see the man's reflection (he had been wearing a characteristic "bowler" type hat). He then looked back at the man (still there), noted his position and looked back at the reflection - or lack thereof!
Dumbfounded, he looked back at the man and lo and behold he had vanished (this all occurred between stops on a crowded train, so it was unlikely that the man would have moved out so quickly.)
P.S. Do you know anything of a ghost ship (riverboat type deal) appearing in the Toronto Harbour (not recent)? I heard a rumour...
