To whom it may concern,

I know a fellow who works at track level in the subways for the TTC who has been told by some 7-10 fellow workers that they have seen a spirit (ghost) down in in the tunnels near the old Bay St. Station, which is also called lower Bay St. Station because it sits directly below the Bay St. Station that is now used by the public.

As I understand it is used a fair amount by movie crews and it is also used as a storage area for equipment and such. There is not much to tell, it would seem that the workers have seen from time to time a Lady in a Red Dress who travels along the tunnels near one of the lower Bay Stn. entrance/exits.

They say that she floats along the ground and it appears to them that she has no legs below the hem of her dress. (None that they can see anyway.) She normally appears for about 30 seconds then just disappears into thin air so to speak. If the workers are to close to her they leave the tunnel rather quickly and some have know to refuse to go back in that section of the tunnel. Some have gone back but as I understand, they won`t go through this area alone. I don`t know if she appears at a certain time or place, or if it is random times. I spoke with another track worker about this sighting, and as soon as I mentioned Lower Bay St. Station, he said "Ah, The 'Lady In Red', yes I have heard about her, but I have not personally seen her."

Keep in mind the second fellow I spoke with is a supervisor/boss of some sorts. So I would imagine that he would have to deal with any workers that do not want to go back down in the tunnel where this Lady in a Red Dress has been seen.
