Would you like to see the desert menu or the apparition of the man or the elusive "Pink Lady"?
Located right near the falls on the beautiful "Niagara Parkway" is the Victoria Park Restaurant which, according to reports, has some interesting things happening in the upstairs offices which, once were home to the Niagara Parks Commission until 1926.
The apparition of an unknown 'gentleman' has been seen as has been the elegant "Pink Lady" who, as reported by the Niagara Falls Review, is attired in old fashioned, formal wear as she walks the floors. According to John Robert Colombo's Mysteries of Ontario the apparitions have been seen and strange sounds have been heard for about twenty years now.
Our question, are they still? We would love to hear from you if you've experienced anything at the restaurant. Please, if you can add anything or tell us who this man and the "Pink Lady" might be, let us know at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. We received the following account from one of our readers:
"To start I have heard of the pink lady, thought nothing of it. But over the years weird things have happened, like door swinging major noises. You have to imagine that a big old building and I am sure its structural. But the cool breezes and just that feeling of someone over your shoulder. You are always looking and and you feel a presence of something. I heard coughing, notes of music on the piano, and things in places that were not there."
Our thanks to our reader for sharing these experiences with us. Have you had a similar encounter? Can you add some further information to this report?
