In November 2008 one of our readers writes:
"I was driving home with my friend, from Port Perry down Old Scugog Rd just north about 1 km of the town of Hampton Ontario when on the west side of the road we both saw two women in 1800's clothing and bonnets on their heads walking about 50 feet off the road in the farmers field. I then slowed down when we noticed that they just did not seem real they were a little transparent. This happened in the fall of 1998. I really did not think much of it until yesterday when I was talking to my mother and she mentioned the "Hampton Ladies" that have been seen for years. Thats when I told the story for the first time that I too have seen them."
