The following report was sent in by one of our readers in 2009:
"I worked at George Brown College, Casa Loma site in 2007 as a member of the night cleaning crew. It was an interesting time working in a few of the buildings dealing with the ghostly presence throughout.
My first experiences were in the dental building, I always had the feeling of not being alone. My co-worker was always somewhere else in the building. I had experience with lights flickering and doors shutting on their own, with no one around.
When I was transfered out of that building, I was assigned to a single floor in the main building. Many nights I'd be working and hearing odd noises, doors closing, footsteps, but no one was around.
One night in particular stands out as the eeriest time of my life. I was outside a classroom changing a garbage can, when out of the corner of my eye I saw something that you could only describe as a ghost.
Since I was alone, down a narrow hallway, I knew what I saw couldn't be there. What I saw was a white shape, in a long flowing dress. It was about 3 feet above the floor. It flew into the chalkboard and disappeared. On the other side of the chalkboard wall was the hallway, but the figure didn't reappear. And the lights were on as well, and that's what made it all the more interesting.
It didn't scare me, and I continued to work, I actually looked nightly for this ghost again, but I never saw it again."
