My great uncle is an inpatient at a local hospital. He's been there for about a week, and he's freaking out the staff, because he keeps telling them "There are ghosts in my room."
Shadows out of the corners of his eyes. People floating past his bed. He remarked that one of them was a former patient, and despite dying in that room, "he doesn't seem all that sad."
He was at different Toronto hospital for three weeks before being transferred to this one. He had not mentioned anything about "ghosts" at that one. At this new facility, he's medication-free, pain-free, lucid, but he won't stop talking about the ghosts that he says he can see.
I know he's older, and shows some signs of mental deterioration, but he is a retired soldier, and he's not exactly prone to spook easily.
