We received the following in March 2010, but the actual events described happened in 1993-1994:
"The story is that my grandmother's second husband's (my step grandfather) house was haunted by the ghost of his first wife. He was a very abusive man, and there had been a lot of pain in that house for as long as I can remember.
In the year 1993 my grandmother had been diagnosed with a brain tumor and treatment had not worked, so my family went to live with her at my step grandfather's house.
As a child I had always felt uneasy in that house. There was a long hallway that I always had to run through because I felt as though I was being chased. My grandmother also claimed that the house did not want her there.
On one evening my cousin his wife ,and their newborn baby were sleeping in the back room, which was a study. In the middle of the night the newborn started crying, and before they could get out of bed to see what the problem was, something in the room started shuuushing the baby. They turned on the lights only to find no one else there.
The next night me and my father where shaken awake at the same time, we were sharing a double bed and had each felt something grab us by the arm and shake us.
My step grandfather's first wife had also died of cancer, and she had died in the room that me and my dad had been sleeping in.My grandmother had died a few days later, and my family never really spoke of any of these experiences afterwards."
Our thanks goes out to the witness for sharing these experiences with us. We appreciate it, and hope that it brings some comfort to others who may be experiencing similar things to know that they are not alone.
