One of our readers shares the following about a home that they had lived in, and the ghost that they nicknamed......

"Just talking about our old home in Consecon, Ontario. Mostly in the evening but would also happen during the day and year round, something (I'll say something for now) liked turning on and off lights and especially the TV.

Now at first the idea of a spirit or ghost didn't even cross our minds. At first I truly believed it to be an electrical issue. Until one night our halogen lamp turned on. The difference with this lamp is that it has a dimmer dial rather than a switch. We were all getting ready to watch a movie so as usual I turned down the lamp (not off just down low) when part way through the movie the lamp SLOWLY got brighter until it was on all the way. My wife and I looked at each other with a knowing look, the kids thought it was cool. So right up until we moved out we referred to the spirit as Casper, It didn't seem to bother it. And when it would turn lights on as well as the TV we would simply tell Casper to remember to turn them off when he was done, and sometimes he would."
