"First I would like to say that I had been drawn to this house as a young teenager. The house on a small lake upon a hill with no real close neighbours. When it became available for rent I jumped at the chance. We lived there for approximately 1 1/2 years. The following events occurred. 1. First night me and my two sons experienced the back door shaking which lasted for more than 1 minute (not sure how long it lasted) as though it was going to explode inward with a force that would not be humanly possible and at the same time the fire alarm went off for no reason. There were always voices and running up and down the halls. You could never quite hear what the voices were saying. The voices were mostly children. I remember very clearly, one snowy winter evening my husband and I went to bed early and I distinctly heard someone walk across the front deck open the porch door and walk across the porch and knock on the inside kitchen door with 3 very loud and evenly spaced knocks. When my husband went to the door there was no one there. I even got up and checked out the window. There was no cars and footsteps in the snow. I still get chills when I think about that night and other incidents because I know that everything did happen. My youngest son experienced something that still upsets him today. He was cooking and the stove, curtains and kitchen cabinets caught on fire he grab the phone and went outside and called me and told me that there was a loud voice that said "don't worry everything will be all right" and when he went back in the house there was no evidence of any fire. When I arrived home he was still very upset. We all experienced things and still talk about them. The spirits are children but there is something evil in that house as well. And, another family member of the owner moved in after and she said she lived there for one year and did not experience anything."
