Update September 2009 one of our readers writes:"I was having a beer with a visiting in-law on the patio about 5 years ago (~summer 2003 or 2004). There was a little service station set up near our table with a coffee maker on it. I believe that there was only one other table occupied at the time and the server was inside the pub when the coffee maker started to shake - lasted only a couple of seconds. I watched to see if a squirrel or other animal might come from behind, but nothing did. When the server checked on us, I asked if the coffee maker was hooked up to a water feed (thinking that perhaps the water feed caused the coffee maker to shake). The server replied "no" and that the coffee maker required someone to pour the water into it. I told the server what I had experienced and she very casually said that it must have been one of the ghosts that have presented themselves at the pub.
Not too exciting, but still unexplained (other than a ghost)."
