Update October 2009
This happened about 8 years ago. Me and my friend would drive around the GTA area to known spots where ghosts might have been seen, but never had any luck coming across anything. By the end of fall of 2001 i believe, one of our favourite spots to be at was on a small parking lot just under the old mill subway station bridge. We would end up there every 2nd or 3rd day and just sit around for 2-3 hours chatting about things, having coffee and cigarettes. We used to go there to try to see anything unusual but after having no luck for a while we stopped believing we would end up seeing anything at all. One night when we were there i saw a yellow ball of light "floating" near the subway bridge heading towards a small bush across the road from the parking spot we were at. I asked my friend if she saw the same thing as me as i really couldn't believe what i just saw. She confirmed it and after about 5-10 sec the light came out from the bush and started heading towards the bridge again at a very even pace. near the bridge it looked like some steam just build up out of nowhere and it literally looked like a man in a hood (like a monk) walking slowly holding a lantern in his hand (which was the light we saw first). This whole thing lasted no more than 1 min from the time we first saw the light until the man disappeared. I always thought that i would be very scared if i ever saw a ghost but in this case we both didn't feel one bit afraid, and were actually pretty excited by what we saw. We ended up going to that spot a few more times over 2 more years but never got to see anything again.
