The first experience I had with the ghosts was when I first moved into the house in Mississauga, Ontario when I was 8 years old. I was brushing my hair and in the mirror I saw a little boy, I turned around and he was gone.
For the next several years, things would go missing, lights would turn on and off, and the TV would randomly change channels. The ceiling fans would go crazy like they were going to fall out of the ceiling, screwdrivers were driven into fresh drywall when no one was home, pencils were piled neatly when no one was home, breath was felt on the back of my neck.
When I went up the stairs from the basement I could feel something grabbing at the back of my heels, trying to pull me down the stairs. My dog used to sit in the same corner of the basement every night and bark at the corner in the ceiling, as if she had cornered it. There was a symbol which looked like it had been drawn on the window with a finger, but it wouldn't wash off on either side for months, and finally it went away on its own.
My father was nearly choked to death on mist in our basement, which quickly entered the room from top to bottom, and left just as fast.
A lady who came to bless the house said there was two spirits that lived there, one was good and one was evil. The evil one got progressively worse after I left home, moving things in the home around. The medium said that the ghost refused to leave and that it felt it owned our family.
My family moved out of the home soon after.
